Purple heart - Setcreasea pallida
Purple heart - Setcreasea pallida is an indoor houseplant with trailing growth that can also be grown outdoors in beds and borders. We have ours in a hanging basket indoors. We originally got the plant fram a nearby garden center. The plant has very deep purple leaves and stems with small attractive pink flowers. Our plant bloomed once a year for about a month or two. You should keep the soil moist. You can pinch the tips to create a bushier plant. Is good to fertilize it monthly.
